Dinner and a movie is the classic date, right? A fancy meal at a nice restaurant, a glass of wine, and a movie to watch and discuss on the way home. It’s the standard go-to for almost every couple. I would suggest mixing it up. There are so many different activities that you could do on a date. Doing something new together is a great way to get to know someone. It helps you see how they react to trying new experiences. You’ll know very quickly if you would like to see this woman again. Here are a few ideas you can use for your next date. 

First of all, not all dates have to be in the evening. Most are planned this way to accommodate working schedules if it’s during the week, but you can plan an early Saturday afternoon date for a fun day date activity.  

Visit your local area

Your town may be hosting a food festival, a new shop, a book fair, a farmers market, or a museum exhibit. It’s a great idea to look to see what fun things are happening near you, you both can spend the day trying new things. 

Horseback riding

This is a great way to spend a Saturday. Pack a picnic, some wine, and take her horseback riding. You’ll see how she treats animals and how she is in an outdoor setting. This is a great date especially if you are an outdoorsman. This can also be very romantic. 

Parasailing

If you are near water, chances are you have an opportunity to go parasailing. Rent a boat, guide/instructor, and go parasailing as a couple in the sky. It can be a little scary but you can do it together, this will help create a bond right from the start.  

Visit a Winery 

You can even choose one neither of you has visited so it’s a new experience for you both. It’s a great place to try wine and have a nice lunch. The views are great it’s a romantic atmosphere. 

Go to a Concert

Of course, this only works if there is a festival/concert happening near you but this is a great setting for a date. You both could relax while trying great food, drinking, and listening to music. You would both find something to enjoy at a festival and be able to show that to one another. This date also would last most of the day so it’s a way to spend quality time. 

Go to a Casino

There are plenty of things to do at a casino even if gambling isn’t your thing. Go to a burlesque show, see Cirque de Soleil, sing karaoke, or just enjoy the atmosphere. There are people everywhere and so many different kinds of games to try that you could stay busy for hours. There are also great shops and of course, it could always be a fun pool day at a cabana.

Theme Park/Ride Roller Coaster

Adults love theme parks too. There are rides, games and so many opportunities to laugh together. You can turn games into a flirty competition, do something scary like ride the roller coasters, and enjoy some fun snacks. 

Snorkeling 

This could be a great option if you are in a warmer climate. You’d also spend most of the day in swimwear so there are lots of opportunities to be flirty and hands-on. I don’t mean you have to be disrespectful but you can apply suntan lotion to each other, hold hands while swimming, or even put your hands around her waist. This is a great way to make her heart beat a little faster. 

Almost any activity can be made into a fun date day. You’ll both have to let your guards down a little and maybe be vulnerable with each other but this is what can help jumpstart a new relationship.
