Gratitude Reflection #1 – The podcast

I first wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who has downloaded and listened to the podcast this year. I created The Down and Dirty Podcast as a way to get my name out there and describe what I offer to my clients. This podcast has turned into something more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.

In this upcoming year, I am going to be dropping an episode twice a week. One will be a guest episode and the other will be a solo episode. I hope that by listening to each of these episodes, you take something away and implement it into your life and relationships. There is so much great information in each one.

Gratitude Reflection #2 – Personal travel to London, Turks and Caicos, and Italy

I am so grateful that I was able to travel to three different countries this year. I started this year in London having an amazing photoshoot and staying at the Savoy, which is an amazing hotel. I also ended up getting a new Gucci backpack because they were having a pop-up while I was there. There were also so many incredible restaurants – I highly recommend going to London!

I also escaped to Turks and Caicos in the middle of the year for a good friend’s birthday party. We were able to take boat rides, ride jet skis, and we even had a private chef one night (which I ended up becoming friends with!). When you travel, you never know who you are going to meet. Take every opportunity that you possibly can, especially if you are single because you never know where you are going to meet your person or someone who makes a significant difference in your life.

I was floored during my last trip to Italy because I had no idea it was fashion week in Milan. Last year, I went to fashion week in New York for the first time and it was one of my favorite experiences. I love seeing upcoming men’s fashion and some of my favorite men’s designers are Italian so being in Milan for fashion week made this even more special.

Gratitude Reflection #3 – Traveling for business

For the last couple of years, I have been going to a place called Mirrorball. Mirrorball focuses on health, wellness, and mindset. I spent a lot of time reflecting on how I could be a better person. When you are an entrepreneur, 80% of it is self-improvement, wellness, and keeping up with things that make you a better person. As a coach and consultant, I have to walk the walk and put as much effort into myself as I do my clients. It is important to work on mindfulness and build trust within ourselves.

Gratitude Reflection #4 – My clients

I am so grateful for my clients throughout this year. I love seeing their confidence grow and the light in their eyes when they put on an outfit that they feel good in. I wholeheartedly want to make people better and help them build that confidence so they have better relationships, marriages, and a chance to meet their perfect partner. It is so important that we have someone we love to share life with but we cannot give love without loving ourselves first!

Gratitude Reflection #5 – Eliminating my chronic pain

For the past 20 years, I have struggled with chronic pain and although this does not define who I am, it is still part of me and I am ready to let it go. I have finally found a doctor who can help me alleviate some of the pain and I am so grateful for this.

Gratitude Reflection #6 – Parenting

I am a sole parent to a teenager which has its struggles. In the middle of the year, I was able to intervene to help her move away from a toxic relationship. From this moment, we have only gotten stronger. I am so grateful that I was there for her and that we have built our relationship. As a parent, we struggle when our children are in pain and there is nothing we can do about it. I know that she is a teenager and has a mind of her own but I can still help.

Gratitude Reflection #7 – Career and what is to come

I was scrolling Instagram a few months ago and an event in Dallas caught my eye. I knew that I had to be there no matter what. Ever since I went to that event, my career has changed for the better and has gone in a trajectory that I never imagined. I am so excited to keep going with the mastermind I joined and learn even more from everyone.
As I look back at 2023, I can reflect on major shifts that have happened for me. I am ready to jump into 2024 and provide so much value to all of you. I am going to be launching some really amazing things so make sure to stay tuned. I plan on providing you with more dating advice, image advice, and more things that will help you succeed in your relationships. I am also going to be launching TWO podcast episodes a week – one solo and one with a guest! From the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful for all of you. Make sure to follow me on Instagram and LinkedIn to keep up with me.
